The Center for European Legal Culture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in collaboration with the Region of Central Macedonia, the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Bar Association of Thessaloniki (DSTH), Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and the National Commission for Human Rights (EEDA), organised the 2nd Thessaloniki Forum for Human Rights with the title “Gender Inequalities and Women’s Rights in Greece nowadays” on Thursday and Friday 3-4 December 2020.
The event was greeted by the Secretary General of Family Policy and Gender Equality, Mrs. Maria Syregela. The content of the Conference included the promotion of discrimination against women in social, political, economic and cultural life with the aim to create a culture that opposes all forms of gender- based violence.
