We warmly thank GEA and the Municipality of Thessaloniki for the invitation to the event “The faces of violence.”, which took place at the History Center of Thessaloniki on Friday 26 November 2021.
DATAWO talked about gender-based violence online and on social media, as well as the goals and action of the organisation. The day was full since many reputable scientists have also participated at the event, while in the second part there was a screening of the film ”The divorce” and an artistic event (the possibility to talk with artists about gender-based violence, which was very interesting.
It is of great importance the phenomenon of gender-based violence to be approached from different perspectives, both through science and art. This event was a success and we are glad to be a part of it!
